| VIVA LAS VEGAS!!!
I haven't updated this thing in forever....
anywho... vegas weekend was awesome. wednesday was THE PERFECT ANNIVERSARY. we checked into the mirage, had some lunch, and sean taught me the wonders of craps. he was up $700 so we went shopping then went up to our room to get ready for a fun filled night. dinner at onda's was fabulous. everything was absolutely delicious. then we watched danny gans -- best show ever. that guy is amazing. after more gambling we returned to our room to find an anniversary present from our hotel --- a large bottle of chilled champagne ---- woooooo more alcohol! it was the BEST night ever! i love you baby
the next day we continued our vegas sampler platter and checked into the mgm grand, which (in our opinion) isn't nearly as nice as the mirage, and lost a boatload of money. boooo to the mgm for taking our cash. on an upside we got 2 free midnight dinners of steak and eggs delivered to our room and a free room service breakfast the next morning.
i met up with the girls (and charles) on friday. we were gonna go do the spa thing (minus charles), but our gambling addictions got the best of us. we ditched the whole spa idea and ended up going to costco to buy some "supplies" (aka tons of booze) and checking out a bunch of casinos/hotels. i think we all lost a bunch of money... except for sy, who's a freaking luck-box. we later met up with my "hubby" and played some $10 blackjack at oshea's. sean and i sat at a table where they made a rule that everyone had to take a shot whenever someone got blackjack... weeee. i was pretty happy after that game despite losing even more of my money. sooo... since we were starving we decided to go to a nearby LnL for some hawaiian dinner. yumm. afterwards, we called a cab, but they told us to wait 30-40 minutes. f*ck that.
(excerpt from tiffany's xanga) We had the brilliant idea of simply walking back and hailing a cab passing by. I don't know if it was because all the cabs were full or because we had six people, but we walked about 4 miles (was it really?) before we decided to split up. This, of course, took us a while to figure out.
Me: Come on, Sy. You have the biggest breasts, so start showing them! Sayuri: What, you want me to just bend over and let them hang out? Charles: Sayuri! You little tease! Me: Yeah, you'd be a little cocktease *cab pulls up* Andrea: Oh my god! A cab! Cab driver: Where are you going? Sean: We're going to the Boardwalk casino Cab driver: *stares at us* You have six. I can only take four. *drives away* All of us: But! wha... Me: ...Now that was a cocktease Charles: Indeed. That was quite the cocktease.
So we eventually split up and took different cabs. Sean and I finally made it to the Aladdin hotel where our luck turned around and we were upgraded to a penthouse suite. wooooohooo. after sean and i took a few excited laps around our place I immediately called Sy and told her to grab everyone and haul their asses over to our place so we could party like rockstars. They came over and we toasted ourselves at our bar and got super blazed with the help of an apple. Charles, though, may have partied a little toooo hard and ended up yaking quite a bit in one of our bathrooms. S'all good though. Sean and I got cabin fever so we decided to hit up the casinos for more booze and energy drinks. we returned in the wee hours of the morning and enjoyed our suite some more. After four hours of sleep we dragged ourselves out of bed and gambled more... Sean staked me into a 2-4 hold 'em game where I won $120 --- weeee. We ate, drank a bunch of booze, gambled more, and headed to the airport where we killed a few minutes on the slots and won $150 -- yay. We finally got back to Berkeley around 2am and I passed out from exhaustion.
Vegas took a toll on my throat and lungs, but I had an AWESOME time. You guys rock. luv ya.
BIG GAME weekend!!! YAY! FUCK STANFORD!
p.s. this by far has to be the longest entry i have ever written, which means i probably won't update this thing for another year or so.
